A tap is a visitor tapping one of your buttons, links, icons or contacts. Opening your page or scanning its QR code is never a tap. A form someone fills in uses 5 more, on top of the tap that sends it.

What that looks like on a plain page

• • 15 taps about 9 US cents A market stall on a Saturday: 60 people scan your QR code and 15 of them tap a button. That day counts 15 taps. The scans count none.
  • 60 taps about 36 US cents A quiet month: about 30 visits and 2 taps a day.
  • 2,000 taps about $12.50 at top-up rates A busy month: about 1,000 visits and 150 taps a day. That is 4,500 taps, but taps stop counting after 2,000 in a calendar month.

The details

• Each tap on your page uses one: a link, a button, a social icon or a contact. A Smart page (blocks that change per visitor) unlocks once for 200 taps, then each tap counts as 2.
• The exact rule: each tap on a link, button, social icon or contact counts at your page's tap price: 1 on a plain page, 2 on a Smart or section page, 3 with both. The same person tapping again on the same page within 30 minutes counts once. Opening the page, by a visit or a scan of its QR code, uses nothing. A form someone fills in uses 5 taps for the lead it captures, on top of the tap that sends it, and a lead is kept even when your balance is empty. A link you add under your name (popin.click/you/x) uses one tap each time it's scanned or opened.
• Your own domain is 2,500 taps, once (about $15.63 at top-up rates). From an empty balance that is the package and top-ups, $19 in all, and welcome taps alone do not open it. It sits outside the package, and there is no yearly fee.
• Your first page is included in the package. Every page after it is 300 taps, once, with its own address, QR code and stats.
• Taps are valid 12 months. Every purchase, the package or a top-up, rolls everything you still have forward.
• New accounts start with 300 welcome taps, valid 30 days.
• If taps you bought run out, your page keeps working in full for up to 14 days or 5% of your last purchase, whichever comes first. Welcome taps have no grace. After that, popin.click/you shows a limited version, up to a daily limit: your profile, text, social icons and first few links, with a Popin banner on it. Rich blocks are hidden, links under your handle and a page on your own domain pause, and you can still edit and save it. Top up and the full page comes straight back.
• A QR code you printed always opens your page's address. If your taps run out, it opens the limited version, up to 1,000 times a day, until you buy a package or a top-up.
• Taps stop counting after 2,000 in a calendar month, so a busy month costs at most the $5 top-ups you choose to buy (about $12.50 of taps). Forms people send and paid extras are charged as usual.
• A page is not listed in search engines until your first purchase. After it, a page with your name and at least three links can be found in search, unless you turn that off.
• Prices are in US dollars, charged once. Nothing monthly. No subscription, nothing to cancel. That is the promise.
• Nothing sits between your visitor and your links.
